Hello All: I ased Eric to set up this Blog site. Actually, it was on he 4th of July that Kris and I were talking about family and how we usually had a Family Reunionto go to every summer. Families used to not be so spread out back when I was a child. Now we are all over the place and even out of the United States. I think a Blogspot is a great way to keep in touch. So please visit often and tell your everyday stories and post your pictures.
With that, I want to propose that we plan a family reunion. Please give your input on when and where we should have it and if there is an interest. I have an idea but I want to hear yours first.

Recipe for Pumpkin Juice
- 2 cups pumpkin (cut into pieces)
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tsp honey (to taste)
- add ground cinnamon, ginger and allspice (to taste)
- 1. juice pumpkin pieces with a juicer or through a cheesecloth
- 2, Put pumpkin, apple, and pineapple juices into a blender
- 3. Add honey by tsps. and blend well.
- 4. Add spices to taste and blend well again.
- 5. Chill and enjoy!

Karen, this is an excellent idea. I haven't been back to the site to post because I couldn't remember how to log in. I have been reading everyone's comments, however. A family reunion for next year would be great. Are your kids campers? because a camp site between Ohio and Utah would be great. My kids are campers. We will all be together for Elizabeth's baptism and can discuss this further. In themeantime, I will try to get my kids on board the blog. Tim, Sarah, and Joseph don't do much emailing, but their spouses do.
